1. The applicant must be an Indian National or a person of Indian origin temporarily residing in the country of his / her present residence.

2. The applicant must hold a valid Indian passport.

3. An application form will be made available to the applicant on the basis of his interest. He may contact MetLife or its advisors, for being advised as to the scope of the cover available, the policy terms and conditions, and exclusions (if any).

4. The applicant must complete the application form only after familiarizing himself with & understanding the scope of cover available and the salient terms & features of the policy. 6. The submission of the application form and receipt thereof by us do not constitute/guarantee an acceptance of the risk contained therein. The acceptance of risk will be subject to the underwriting decision of MetLife. The right to alter or decline the application stands reserved with MetLife based on its underwriting norms.

7. The insurance policy would be issued in Indian currency only and shall be in line with the regulations issued by the Reserve Bank of India and the Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority of India.

8. Insurance cover will commence only after the risk has been accepted by MetLife.

9. Information provided through web and other documents including application etc. would be used by MetLife in assessing and deciding the insurance coverage and servicing the insurance policy that is sought.
